Freeze Dried Salt Water Taffy Large - Orange Cream 2.75 oz

When I saw "saltwater taffy", I knew things would be sticking to my teeth. The only problem is, these just don't seem to come off like my other taffy did. Normally, I can use a toothbrush quickly through my mouth and clean up everything that got stuck to my teeth, but these didn't seem to come off no matter how hard I tried. It's probably because these are freeze-dried. At first, when you put one in your mouth, you taste nothing. However, the moment you crunch, you get an explosion of flavor, and the taffy completely dissolves. Unfortunately, when the taffy dissolves, everything sticks to your teeth. If you're looking for something you can clean up, get a non-freeze-dried one, have some fruit. All that aside though, these are really amazing candy! I really enjoyed them and had about 5 in front of my computer this morning. Normal taffies would have a lot of calories, but these taffies are much less than 1oz, and 1oz is only 120 calories. You don't have to worry about having too much candy if you ration it like your other sweets, but it's hard! (The taffies basically vanish the moment you crunch on them) Altogether, the entire bag contains about 4 servings, so it's not too bad!

I haven't had much freeze dried candy let alone Taffy so being able to combine the two was definitely a pleasant experience. I got the orange cream flavor and there was a very nice and strong orange cream flavor; however, it was very sweet so I cannot find myself eating more than one in a sitting. It was perfectly crunchy and very fresh. The bag is decently sized so there's definitely a lot to go around and share with others. For this being my first time trying something like this I would definitely try other flavors.

I really like the flavor of these, I ordered the orange cream and they taste just like Creamsicles. The texture of these is almost like a meringue, very different, but in a good way. The calorie count isn’t that bad either, I hope it’s correct, because I could eat a whole bag in one sitting. The only downside is that they are a bit pricey.

These candies are tasty if a bit interesting. All freeze dried candy is certainly an adventure and these were no exception. Flavor was very nice.

Considering that orange cream is my favorite flavor of taffy, and taffy is my favorite kind of freeze dried candy, these are absolute perfection. Each piece is the perfect mouthful of crispy, airy crunch. The freeze drying perfectly preserves the dreamsicle flavor. Some freeze dried candies arrive in pieces, but almost all of these are intact. The bag is large enough to share with your family.
